In Texas, 1 in 4 youth suffer from hunger or food insecurity. in McLennan County, these children primarily receive their food from public school cafeterias. When they are off campus, there is a likelihood that food insecurity exists; therefore, McLennan County Pack of Hope exists to provide students access to health foods when off campus.
